Starting the project
It all started from spare ply wood sheeting I had in the workshop.
Using a crude 1:200 scale plan showing the decks and a profile view, I made templates of the various frames through the vessel where the main bulkheads were located. I used a pine keel and slotted them in at the correct distances.
It was then that I realised the size of this beast! No turning back now ..... well ply board is expensive!! (note the size against that Black and Decker work bench)
The next stage was to line everything up on a centre line. I used a laser line to line up all the centre lines of the bulkheads.
