The 'Engine Room'
I've opted for two 12v electric motors. I got those from bargain cordless drills at my local Homebase. These will be controlled through an 'Electronize FR30HX' speed controller with power being supplied from a 12v motorcycle battery. I'm still experimenting on whether to run them in parallel or in series. I've made my own prop shafts owing to the length of the model, but used 'off the shelf' brass inserts to escape the hull. These drive 5 blade 65 mm brass propellers.
