The Bow
I had to add flat sections to the bow area which was fairly tricky but turned out well. I also added the frames and mid frames. The gaps are for the fairleads. On this photo you can see that I have applied a filler to eliminate the graining that is evident on this type of material.
Here below, you can see I've started the mount for the 4.5" Vickers gun. Here I used Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cardboard and superglue, then applied a top to it. The card gives really good sharp detail to the support sections around the circular section. I've also applied the top surface along the bow.
